KUALA LUMPUR, 15 Jan 2020: The biggest homegrown rock festival, Rockaway Fest 2020’s full lineup boasts international headliners, local legends as well as a newly revealed plenitude of local artists on an additional satellite stage. The iconic festival has boasted 51,000 rockers, 92 artists, 11 shows, 5 festivals over the past ten years and is set to return this 14-15 March 2020 at Bukit Jalil Carpark B.
Revealed to be headlining the festival is Japanese heavy metal band, Crossfaith. The fiery band is well-known for their live performances, depicting a kinetic blend of progressive and punitive extreme metal. American rock band, Atreyu, is set to showcase their acidic vocals and pounding drums, with their distinctively metalcore edge.
Mysterious and powerful metal superstars, Lacuna Coil, are set to exhibit songs from their ninth and heaviest album to date, “Black Anima”. The band, who celebrated their 25th-anniversary last year continues to evolve their music, with loyal and new fans attracted to their gothic rock sounds. Following that, internationally acclaimed 4-piece metal band, Uncured, will be showcasing their brutal riffs and technicality, bringing their powerful performance to the stage at Rockaway Fest 2020.
Massacre Conspiracy is a 6 piece metal band, bringing metal madness alongside our local lineup with energetic, fresh riffs and epic breakdowns. They deliver a blend of unique styles of metal while keeping it heavy for metal fans nationwide.
Not forgetting two days of carnival-like fun awaits Rockaway Fest 2020 attendees with Zone Gem-Park, an open-to-all area will also host a variety of fun and exciting activities together with an delectable assortment of F&B offerings. Zone Gem-Park is a 2-day carnival-esque area which will be open for free to all members of the public.
Zone Rockaway Live, happening on 15th March 2020, will open its doors to Rockaway ticket holders as our lineup will be taking stage with back-to-back high energy performances from crowd favourites. Expect an elevated experience this time around with a gathering of live music enthusiasts coming together to catch the biggest acts as well as two stages to keep fans occupied throughout the festival.
