Genting Highlands, 24 May 2023 – One of the most influential names in dance music, Paul van Dyk, returns to Zouk Genting on May 27, 2023 bringing his brand-new live event concept VENTURE X. VENTURE X is an exciting new concept where the master DJ and curator sources from the finest trance, progressive house, and techno music available and brings it all together during one incredible evening.
The new concept is an evolution from Paul’s trademark shows featuring high-energy awe-inspiring sound played from his dazzling array of equipment on stage. Van Dyk famously feeds off his fans, focusing on the improvisational art of the craft and editing tunes on the fly. Familiar sounds are presented in an entirely new context, with a focus on embracing the unexpected.
The show is unpredictable and totally ground breaking hence the name of the concept VENTURE X defined by Paul van Dyk.
“VENTURE X allows me to explore the width of what electronic music means to me”, van Dyk says, “People know me for trance but there is so much more. VENTURE X allows me to do this as a musical concept because I won’t play 138 BPM straight through but rather a wider musical experience”.
The show at Zouk Genting on will be supported by resident DJ Neil as well as feature two amazing stalwarts of the Malaysian electronic music scene, Simon Lee & Alvin as well as MisterAriffin, from 10pm to 4am. With such an amazing line-up, fans can expect to be treated to a night of genre breaking, high octane entertainment that is sure to be the talk of the town.
